Cara Root Android dengan SuperOneClick:

1. Instal terlebih dahulu PC Companion di komputer Anda

3. Hubungkan Android Anda ke komputer Anda, selalu pastikan untuk mencentang dulu USB debugging dan sumber tidak dikenal pada ponsel Anda, dan juga ponsel dalam keadaan menyala.

5. Jika muncul dialog "You device already appears to be rooted!!! Are you sure you want to continue?" klik ok!
6. Biarkan Software SuperOneClick membaca ponsel Anda hingga muncul dialog "root install has completed" lalu klik ok
7. Lalu muncul Windows Testing dengan dialog "An su comand will now be send to your phone, You might have to select Allow in Superuser" lalu klik ok

Cara Install Android Jelly Bean 4.3 di Xperia Mini dan Xperia 2011 Lainnya - Pada tanggal 31 Oktober 2013 lalu, Android KitKat 4.4 secara resmi dirilis menggantikan posisi seri Jelly Bean yang sudah satu tahun ini menjadi versi Android terakhir. Dalam satu tahun itu tidak serta merta Jelly Bean diam di tempat. Kurang lebih ada dua kali revisi pada Android Jelly Bean ini, diantaranya ada Jelly Bean 4.2 dan Jelly Bean 4.3 yang dirilis beberapa bulan sebelum KitKat muncul.

Untuk mendapatkan update Jelly Bean 4.3, cara yang paling gampang yaitu dengan menggunakan custom ROM karena jarang sekali ada vendor yang memberikan update resmi Jelly Bean terakhir ini.

Bagi pengguna Xperia 2011 (Xperia Mini, Xperia Mini Pro, Xperia Active, Xperia Live With Walkman) ada sebuah ROM Jelly Bean 4.3 yang patut dicoba. ROM ini sudah cukup stabil, hampir tidak ada bug yang muncul, Wifi & Bluetooth juga sudah lancar. Namanya P.A.C Man ROM, sebuah ROM gabungan dari P - Paranoid, A - AOKP, C - CyanogenMod.

P.A.C Man ROM merupakan Super ROMs. ROM ini dikemas dengan berbagai macam tweak yang disematkan dan berbagai fitur dari gabungan ketiga jenis base ROM tersebut.

Untuk dapat menginstall ROM ini, yang harus dilakukan, pastikan Xperia anda sudah menggunakan versi ICS Official terakhir (587) dan sudah di unlock Boot loader. Jika sudah, ikuti steps dibawah ini :

• Unduh P.A.C Man ROM beserta GApps dari link berikut lalu pindah ke SDCard (jangan ditaruh didalam folder), http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2138478
• Instal kernel (boot.img) yang bisa anda ambil dari dalam P.A.C Man ROM
• Masuk ke Recovery Mode, tekan Volume bawah berkali-kali saat lampu LED sudah menyala
• Pilih Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition dan Wipe dalvik cache (didalam Advanced) menggunakan tombol volume untuk menaik-turunkan cursor dan tombol home untuk OK
• Pilih install zip from SDCard, pilih P.A.C Man ROM kemudian install, lakukan hal serupa pada GApps nya
• Pilih Reboot now

Tunggu beberapa saat hingga Xperia anda menyala, paling tidak hal ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar 3 - 5 menit. Jika berhasil dengan sempurna, selamat Xperia anda kini sudah resmi menjadi Jelly Bean 4.3.
